Although Noble BC is a well-known and highly respected plumbing supply store across the Vancouver area, we decided to expand our offerings into the Kelowna area for several reasons. As of 2023, Kelowna is considered one of the fastest-growing cities across Canada. We understand that the local market already has an established supplier network, and we felt we could bring another level of service and expertise. As Kelowna welcomes new residents to the city, the infrastructure must keep up to meet demand, and we felt we could assist in providing for the growing needs of the commercial and multi-residential projects planned for the community.
Breaking Ground, Challenges and New Opportunities for Growth
Although the construction process for new ventures can be lengthy, we were fortunate in securing an existing 15,000-square-foot facility in Rutland. Our main issue came from trying to find a building big enough for our needs. Kelowna’s economy is booming, and the commercial vacancy rate is very low, which made finding a larger facility challenging. Fortunately, we managed to secure a great location, and after spending some time making improvements, we opened our plumbing supply store’s doors to customers.
Finding Success in Kelowna and Beyond
So far, our expansion has allowed us to serve not only the citizens of Kelowna but also those in Vernon, Penticton, Kamloops and beyond. Now that we’re closer to most of the larger-scale projects in the Kelowna area, we can network and establish working relationships with many of the regional mechanical contractors. We’ve also gained a better understanding of the local market and are excited to be part of Kelowna’s bright future.
